When I started working with the WVSO, their website wasn’t old, but it was outdated. Not only did it have some security issues, but all sense of organization and strategy was lost with previous administration. Even more importantly, it was not mobile friendly which is unacceptable for any organization online regardless of the audience.
I replaced WVSO’s old site using Joomla! with WordPress. WVSO’s new site is attractive, responsive (mobile-friendly), easily navigable, legible, with search engine optimization (SEO). It also has a refined concert calendar and a built in blog making it easy for administration to post news, links, and other content. On top of all this, almost all old content was reused and condensed with more direct and strategic messaging.
